I have a similar problem. I had a 160Gb hd in an external case and wanted to format it into 2 FAt32 partitions. DiskUtil would allow me to format the whole drive as one DOS partition but if I tried to partition it into 2 I could only format it us…

Christ. After all the grief with MOTO and the f**k**g G4 we now have this horsesh*t. Is it simply too much to ask for apple just for once to get it right? How can they expect to sell computers when people are always convinced that a better …

Hi guys, thanx 4 your replies. I don't mind confessing that it really freaked me out! I use macjanitor every week, repair permissions with disk util every 3 or 4 days and run cache out X every 2 weeks. I don't install anything I do not need -…

Does anyone know why exactly apple moved to AGP? I was always under the impression that it was supposed to herald a new era of choice for Mac users. by aopting the same standard as PCs 3rd party developers would be able to produce agp cards for mac …

Hi Guys, I've tried a number of things people have mentioned here. Disk Utility. I've repaired permissions several times (including via the jaguar CD) - although I have to say that I tend to fix permissions weekly anyway - even though I don't…
