I haven't been keeping up with all the information about Snow Leopard and have a question. I'm using a TiBook G4 867mhz with 1GB RAM using 10.5.8 as a second computer. Since Snow Leopard is more of an update of 10.5, will it work on a G4 computer?

If you read the super long second paragraph carefully, you'll see the original poster did receive a new iPhone replacement from the AppleStore.

I don't know about leak problems, I didn't have mine long enough for that to happen. At about 10 months the power supply failed, at about 18 months the G5 Dual 2.5 started having frequent crashes. After at least 5 attempts to solve the problem, the …

badger, it doesn't matter at what point within the first year you buy AppleCare, it extends your warranty to the three year mark from when you first bought the computer, not an additional two years from when you buy AppleCare. The main advantage …

What's your opinion on whether it's worth updating an iPod Touch from 2.0 to 3.0? Basically, is it worth the $10 fee?

Does anyone read carefully anymore? If you go back and read post #4 again you'll clearly see it says COUNTY not COUNTRY.

Well after debating whether to upgrade my G4 TiBook 867 to Leopard, see post #5, I decided to do it. The upgrade went smoothly and all programs seem to be running at the same speed or a little faster. The big difference is in Safari, the old version…

Here's an article from the Great Falls Tribune, one of those areas where AT&T is buying Alltel. It's titled "AT&T acquisition would give Montanans more service, phone options" and the key points are: "Once the sale is complete, AT&T w…

PB and JLL, thanks for your responses. Unfortunately, the Mail problem is much more serious than what I posted. Simply put, Mail is DOA. I can neither receive nor send email. In Mail's preference all the information is correct and to double check…

I have a G4 TiBook 867 with IGB RAM, the maximum amount for that machine, presently running 10.3.9. I'm wondering about upgrading to Leopard. Both the RAM and speed are the minimum for 10.5. This is a second computer and is used primarily for em…
