SL has the same bug sometimes after a restart or an update. I use Desktop Icon Manager in case it happens: http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/197...p-icon-manager Don't know if it works in Lion though. Didn't upgrade yet.

Same problem here since today. Added youtube.com to the direct loading sites in the ClickToFlash preferences and now it works again.

ctrl+shift+eject is what you're looking for. sleeps the screen, not your mac.
