I LOVE it. GONE will be the optical drive at long last making way for a thinner logic board and with that a significantly thinner body. I'm looking forward to USB 3.0 inclusion by way of Intel's Ivy Bridge chipset without the need of an ExpressCard.…

Since when are Thunderbolt or USB 3.0 wireless standards??? And most of you don't know your bits from your bytes. Anyway, if there is anyone wanting to know as to when Apple will support USB 3.0, I have the answer for you: Now, if you have an Exp…

I like my Apple TV (2nd gen.) and if it would only output 1080p, I would love it, but I get it, it's part of the iOS ecosystem and is tightly integrated with iTunes, which lacks 1080p content. Then there are the concerns that most people won't have …

And can someone at Apple perhaps include the apparently far-fetched idea of using IPS panels??????????????? I love my MacBook Pro and the screen is nice, but nowhere near as nice as my Cinema Display, iPad and iPhone. I'm all for extreme high res…

Ive's in a studio? I didn't know San Francisco's real estate prices were that high.

Sweetness!!! 2,880x1,880..."Retina" displays. Yes, I'll buy it on day one, and let's have them be IPS displays please. How is it that iPhone, iPod touch, iPad 1 & 2, iMac (24", 21.5" & 27") can ALL have gorgeous IPS displays, but MacBook Pro…

The tagless thing had nothing to do with looks and everything to do with his overall issues with authority. If it had been about looks, he would have taken the license plate border off, too!

Some of you might as well wear shirts that say "We are the 99%" Money....is....awesome!

Yes, this made me laugh, too, although this attitude is probably what ultimately killed him, or at least killed him when it did, as opposed to however much additional time he might still have had if he only hadn't been so stubborn about getting his …

I am looking forward to the day when my 27" Cinema ("ThunderBolt") or whatever display is as incredibly sharp as the iPhone 4. For a 3.5" screen to have 326ppi, along with an LED backed IPS panel was something to behold. The iPad 3 will arguably be …

Good stuff! I hope it will be like iTunes music where we can, for a $24.95 fee, upload all of our music and it becomes part of our iTunes library. Uploading TV shows (and maybe eventually movies as well) might be too much "cumbersome" for those who …

Any of you ever watch Steve Jobs' introduction of the very first Time Capsule @ Macworld in January of 2008? They were 500GB/1TB for $299/$499 at the time and Steve goes out of his way to re-iterate how it's server grade, as in not just any drive, i…

My 4TB NAS has 2 of these WD Green Drives. It has seen heavy usage over an 18-month usage period (knock on wood) and the drives are super fast and completely silent! Of course, RAID 0 has a lot to do with the fast part and I have never connected the…

The 3TB one is probably a WD AV-GP (WD30EURS), which is also silent, has 64MB of cache, and won't produce too much heat, which is important, of course, because the TimeCapsule has no fans.

That's awesome!!! One question, though. Does the "new" Time Capsule also have the 2.8 times increased output and will it, as apparently the Airport Extreme, also have greater range and signal strength, at least theoretically? Or does the Time Capsul…

Thanks for letting me know about the ISO's. That's pretty cool. However, has anyone had an issue running BootCamp on the 2011 MBP's? I've never had a problem on the various iMac's that I've owned, so what's the story here? Is it the lack of a Win…
