I've been waiting for Samsung's HL-S5679W LED DLP for awhile now. It's supposed to come out in May but it's been pushed back to June or July. Cnet rated it best HDTV at CES. It doesn't use a color wheel so no chance of the rainbow effect. I'm a …

With the amount of space on Blu-ray discs companies could put movies along with PS3 games (Spiderman 3 combo disc seems like a no brainer.) Also, I just read that TDK finalized their 200 gig blu-ray discs. They're definitely price prohibitive cur…

I read an article about a month ago about a small US company that figured out how to make BluRay discs with a much higher success rate. If I remember correctly, foreign disc manufacturers had about 20-25% success rate. This American firm got it …

I love that title!

I'd like to see a resolution indepence feature in the next version of OS X. If you set the font size to 24 point it would exactly the same size of 24 point text on paper. It's kind of irritating when you see a website's text scale depending if the…

6.9 pounds really isn't that heavy for a 17" laptop especially when I've seen some 15" PC laptops that were over 10 pounds. Even if Apple added another pound for a 20" laptop it would still be 1-3 lbs. lighter than an equivalent pc laptop.

I'd jump at the chance of getting a 20" widescreen powerbook. I currently have the 17" & while I love it, I could use more screen realestate while running photoshop. A fullsize keyboard & tv tuner would be nice as well. Another reason…

Just think if Blu-ray used this codec instead of H.264. HD satellite & cable would be nuts not to use this technology.

Warner Brothers plans to have, "at least some" of the 20 HD-DVD to use the Image Constraint Token. Do you think they will label the packaging so consumers will know which is which?

$25 drop in two months is just painful to watch. What's even more frustrating are all the positive analyst articles talking about 8% share & that it's a strong buy & watching it still trickle downward. I'm still keeping my shares for another…

Apple's stock has been taking a real pounding lately. I still plan to keep it for a year or two but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to why it's getting slammed.

Any idea when those 100gig Blu-ray discs will come out? It would be pretty sweet to buy a movie trilogy that could fit on one disc or an entire season of the Simpsons on two discs. (I think that the current DVD versions have 4-5 discs for each …

Quote: Originally posted by Cake I'm not sure about bundling games and films, but Sony will include 2-4 Blu-ray discs in the box when you buy a PS3. Do you have a link to where you read this at? This is the first I've heard about Sony shippi…
