It better be more than a capacity change.

Sorry, but if the iPod is coming out in mid March, I'm gonna have to have a fit! I hope that the "Full-color 8 inch display with FW800" is true.

Macwhispers has dropped its "product releases predicted by OEM suppliers" method.
-
Macwhispers should not of been so senselessly confident about the iPod. Of course, they could be right about the iPods being built and stockpiled today, but that doesn't count, now does it?
-
Macwhisper's reputation as a rumor site will be permanantly scarred if the iPod is not released today, because they have made a stupid-as-hell prediction that they are completely confident of.

It ain't lookin' good...do product releases usually come at 9:00?

If the capacities are 10, 20, and 40 gigs, then Apple can launch a very attractive ad campaign: "The same money gets you twice the music". That would point out a very important point, and would convince potential buyers that they are getting an awe…

Damn those bichos in Cupertino! Maybe we'll get that high-res tablet that macwhispers is talking about. All the recent OEM info seems to point to a "tablet like no other". Read the "Five products we may see from Apple-Part Two"

Looks like next Tuesday... There has to be some change, other than capacity, when it's updated, or I will throw a fit. What happened to that"videopod with FW 800 and bluetooth and Airport Extreme and a big fat G4" idea?

Rendevouz is a bit delusional and confused, sir. Speaking of delusional, an anonymous source speaks of the classic "videopod lifestyle device with full-color touchscreen display" at this

Firewire 400 fast enough? Way more than fast enough. The drive in the iPod, at maximum theoretical data throughput, could not fill Firewire 400's minimum throughput. And to make the an iPod with Firewire 800 even more unlikely, the iMac, Apple's sel…

iPod will (almost!) definitely be updated by Tuesday, without argument. The sizes will be 10, 20, and 40 gigabytes, without argument. But what about form factor? Will there be a "MiniPod" for those usatisfied whiners complaining about the relativel…

Bluetooth support would ruin the advantage of the iPod- fast transfer speeds. Unless apple unveils a wireless Firewire equivalent, it would be slow as hell for music transfer. As for transfering contacts/calendar data, that would be different. …

Apple will still have the challenge of proving the "Megahertz Myth" even though the 970 will whip both the Xeon and the 'Hammer's butts. But this time through, it won't be as hard, because Apple can say "...the PowerPC 970 is a proven server workhor…

Apple, without question, will use the 970. Moto has treated the PPC as an integrated solution not a workstation solutio. Motorola thinks "Who brags about the speed of their VCR's clock speed?", and therefor won't advance the PPC as a computer chip. …
