Aqua is innoffensive but bold and beautiful at the same time. It is the perfect balance.

I think that the Address Book demonstrates the future of Aqua. Look at the selection bars, etc. They look sleek and finished.

Maybe the GUI could introduce things like refraction and color bleeding, turning our Finder into a 3d render stage.

I think that a interface technology that allows reflection would be a nice touch. See your mouse pointer reflected on an active window...thats it! There needs to be more of a difference between active and inactive brushed-metal windows.

Jobsian? What the f u c k ?

Thanks a lot, Brad.

Someone needs to make a brushed metal theme that doesn't look like the Win-XP gradient fill faux-metal look.

I want to be able to close minimized windows from the dock without maximizing the window in question.

What I want on the Mac is a feature that windows users take for granted: being able to close a docked window withou maximizing it. Another, less important thing would be able to ctrl-click on an app in the dock, see the windows of that app, and be a…

Its getting to look like XP Luna... I thought that the Metal theme was in Apps that connect with external devices...but in that case, just about everything can be Metal. You could say that Safari and Mail connect with servers, and servers are ex…

NOT METAL! PLEASE! There will be no Aqua left by the end of this!

What we need is an educational discount for Maya Complete. Maya is the only 3D application that doesn't offer academic pricing, and it happens to be the most expensive. I guess that I'll go with Lightwave 7.5.

I guess that the xServe's flashing-disco status indicator lights don't add to rendering performance [ 02-23-2003: Message edited by: os10geek ]

Apple is offering a special "Buy Shake and Save on Maya" deal. Shake seems to be something that Unlimted customers are interested in. I mean, WETA Digital, the FX house that did all the effects for Lord of the Rings, is using Apple's Shake and A|W…

The thing that sucks about it is that it requires 8 megabytes of VRAM to just show the presentation. I guess it makes sense with all those mad-cool 3D transitions, but still! I can't run presentation software on my Beige G3?

2 abs? Airport!? What does Airport have to do with it? Oooooh...I thought that this was a fitness thread...

Yeah. The guys at the Aple Store would probably tell you where to take it to be fixed...It probably won't be a "Mail it in and we'll fix it" kind of thing.
-
I bet that an Apple rep will know how to get it fixed. Of course, the problem won't be there when you try to show it to the dude, because that's the way that the world works.
