I just went to download .8 on my eMac, it's already on my iBook without issue, it's been pulled from the apple site. I guess it was serious enough to withdraw it.

if you're looking for a simple program that allow you to read scanned maps and interface with your GPS try Gpsy. It doesn't do anything but show where you are on a map, but it's still cool. http://www.gpsy.com/

I know a family here in Canada where the woman had an affair with a black professional fooball player. The resulting baby was accepted into the family the same as the other four children. He was obviously half black, but, it didn't make a difference…

I'm hoping to use ,y iSight camera with cu-seeme software. I currently use the OSX beta version of Vchat on my 800 mhz machine, because the driver loads with iChat AV. Vchat however doesn't allow me to use my log in at refs where I am a member, so I…

To me the disqappointment is that it won't run on my 500 mhz iBook. I'm hardly going to buy a new machine just to run this app. ANd it's all of 1.5 years old. I'm at least a year away from a new laptop.

It is really sad. but what we are seeing here is the United States losing all sense of perspective. Lets talk about Ollie North and the contras. The United States was clearly in violation of international law. Ollie North was convicted, and then par…

Anything for a little publicity for the right wing idealogues. Privatization failed the people every where. But it did make some few wealthy people more money. The right controls the media, they own it. Unfortunately they also control the reporting …

I have a little bit of a problem trying to imagine why Apple would ever design another G4 motherboard. Personally, I think Motorolla just lost their gig. They may find that selling a few milion processors a year in Apple computers probably would hav…

Hey, I'm not here very often, so I probably won't be back to answer questions, but I've seen UFO's, one that was defeinitely a saucer shaped; flying machine of some kind. And I have abduction memories. Whatever. IN any case I thought I'd share the r…

Oh boy, where can I apply for a job? I ended up going to the one in Cincinatti while visiting my cousins. It was alittle sterile but I could handle it.

My first Powerbook lasted me 5 years. My wife is still using a 33 mhz machine. Most people buy iBooks because they're affordable and portable, not for their video card. He'd be crazy to restock just for that reason. What is it he wants to do that he…

Mapping software for interfacing with my gps, and CUseeme works very poorly in OSX. I have a P4 laptop, but I rarely use it.

It hurts so bad.

I do this a work. When the G4 base station gets bogged down with video editing, it's day job, my network speeds hit rock bottom. Most of the time I just run the 15 feet of cable to the laptop on my desk. It saves me time.

I paid 49$ for an extra 50 meg a while ago so I had 70 meg storage. I looked in my account this morning and low and behold, I have 100 meg storage. This is about the going rate as far as I can tell. So I pay 100$ for 100 meg storage plus I get the i…

I was in the Cinicinnati store on the weekend. They didn't have what i wanted, Maps and software for use with a GPS and PalmPC, but they did have a cute little 20 gig firewire drive, called a Firelight to use with my laptop. It's an amazing little …

IT guys never bought Macs when they we're ahead in power, why would they do so now, when it looks like PC's are ahead? This is just the old "prove to me Mac's are better". You know, it's really easy to just sit back and ask questions instead of doin…
