I work with their Big Data product, Vertica, is pretty awesome. Granted, their revenues relative to HP overall is probably low. But Vertica is pretty great.

It would be nice if they instituted a DRIP. I would like to buy each of my kids a share and teach them about investing and compounding interest/dividends. It's more fun with a stock than a savings account.

So what are the alternatives to Quicken? Something that can predict cash flow, bills coming due, etc. Something that has most of the features of Quicken's Windows version of the software.

Well, this is the downside of not having a walled garden. It's an issue pretty much for software developers. Most likely, you are going to target older versions of the OS relatively speaking.
