Happy to see Autodesk finally taking action. Hopefully it doesn't turn out like the other program I need Parallels for (Quickbooks). That said, I think it is time for Autodesk to grow up on AutoCAD licensing. I know they have a lot to loose from …

I don't consider 99 cents a discount to something that is normally free. They should not look at this as a chance for tranditional revinue to be erroded, but a chance to try and hold onto tranditional viewers who are jumping ship.

I think the train of thought that the click wheeled nano is gone is wrong. There could be 2 models the nano and the nano touch just like the ipod classic and ipod touch one is always going to have more space then the other. My fingures are crossed t…

Yes, Apple may piss people off with this improvement, but what are they to do? Not improve their product as soon as possible? And if so, how long is a good time to wait? Also I ask: if you are one of those pissed off people then will you speak up…

1.4 billion So why didn´t Apple bought it in the first place? 1.4 Billion is just a fraction of Apple´s capital. Are they planning on manufacturing their own baseline controllers?

When will these 'journalists' realize that they are not fooling anyone. The only news outlet that is going to be left soon is FOX News and The Wall Street Journal. USA Today is evaporating while FOX News and The Jounal just keeps growing. Don't the …

Maybe it's because the product is already over half a year old (counting from the announcement) and rumors about a new version are growing? It's just recently released here in the Netherlands. If it was released in April (or if I could get one (16GB…

Now that I've seen that mockup, it seems to make way more sense. A tiny device with a small screen, the entire device is the screen, and you can navigate using gestures so that "Back" and "Menu" buttons don't take up extra space. Maybe it could even…

I'm waiting till they create a really good ipod. Enough to go to those ipad and iphone like ads and show them in the real world (no dancing druggies or disbodie hands infront of Kroma Key)

WebM and Ogg have one big problem, it's not sure if there are any patents involved or not. No one has sued yet, but no company worth of sueing has used it yet. It's claimed they do not, but no know for sure, thus they're no real alternative to h.264…

Why do we keep reporting on these developer seeds of 10.6.x upgrades. I mean, if there was some awesome feature coming, I would understand. But Apple is doing a ton more than just OS X. I think these updates to developers should be page 2 news from …

I hope they don't get rid of the click wheel. I HATE the iPod interface on the Touch and iPhone. If you are at the gym, mowing the lawn or driving the car, etc. It is infinitely easier to make adjustments by feel with the click wheel than having to u…

All this social networking stuff is so boring. I have no interest at all in sharing my musical tastes or any other personal info for that matter with anyone unless I really know them (in the flesh as they say).

Glad the app is out. lame that it's one of those not optimized for the Retina display. Kind of inexcusable that the interface icons aren't high res since this is shipping two months after the iPhone 4 release. I can understand all of their movie art…

The list of OSes which are affected or potentially-affected by the previous .PDF exploit is available at http://www.kb.cert.org/vuls/id/275247. OS X seems not to have been affected by that exploit, and I expect this patch is for some other vulnerabi…

They probably moved the date so Apple's news rides over the weekend, to block some of the Samsung Galaxy Tab (Android Tablet) news coming on the 3rd. Mass media is a large free marketplace for super companies, and Apple knows how to use it to the…

Interesting.... but I feel like if you wanted touch controls on the fly, and you had to flip down you're whole iMac (say 27") that would be too much. Maybe a special version iMac that has iOS on top of OSX and is slimmer with SSD standard and …

Just two little rules It's called a password, and there are just two little rules about using passwords: 1. Make it really hard for anyone to guess, even if they know all about you. 2. Never give the password to anyone, even if they ask you pol…

For an educator, the possibilities can be quite extraordinary. We had a faculty member who normally teaches just a couple sections of a course on religions (among others), and his course was highlighted on the iTunes U landing page one week. His …

How will this fly when there are plenty of free sources (Hulu, etc.) for streaming current shows, cheap sources for streaming older shows (Netflix and Hulu+, etc.) ? not to mention brain-dead simple tools for torrents ? for those who don't want cabl…
