Yeah screw them. I love the idea of fireworks, but it's to slow, won't even test out in panther (because of the way the manipulate the OS), and the way they code is just sloppy. Not to mention it is sluggish on the dual xeon 2ghz i have at work a…

Yeah my head is all mixed up today. Even with version changeds between b28 and b39 you could get your data back. It's just an encrypted disk image and no matter what you can still decrypt it. So your pretty safe there. Quote: Originally posted b…

Jaguar had quite a few FC builds, I still have that was one build before final and it was FC115 :-P Food for thought

Why would Apple use Intel? You wouldn't worry ever worry about your computer being slower than a PC or 10x the price. Which equals a damn good thing if they offered both intel and x86. Cheep ones and Mercedes computers. Price is the #1 fac…

Fonts are good stuff. I design for a living and I think I'll get buy with Apple's Fontbook + Unsanity fontcard when it comes out for Panther. We'll see for now I use FontAgent Pro. P.S. Under US Copyright Law, fonts/typefaces aren't protected. It…

Actually what he is saying is very true. I don't know about the timeframe, but I stand by the author. I don't know who the hell would be telling him but it's very true. Some of you might remember a reader who posted about the intel test systems r…

Actually it's been removed because I said so. Deal with it. Second the top is now considered a toolbar just for keeping buttons and such. Just use the draw on the side, you can even slide it so it's just icon size and moving over the icons will i…

Oh? A Panther? I get it so this next release of OS X has something to do with a Panther? In that case let me thank you for taking the time to post the lovely image of a panther with German text. Since this relates to OS X Panther it's safe to assume…

Yeah german is a great language, especially when it stays OFF of english boards and has nothing to do with the topic. This thread is large enough we don't need it stuffed with unrelevant images. Back to the topic Quote: Originally posted by D…

Check labels out in the open/save dialogs! Never noticed till now

The font since build 39 has been condensed in the finder file views and such. It takes a minute to adjust from 10.2 but after that you can't go back. It's very much easier to read which comes as a suprise. And it feels smaller more like OS 9. I l…

I posted this over at macnn.com earlier: Labels in 10.3 build 44

Yum, I'm ready to install this build. I updated (because I like to see what happens) from b21 to b39. Everything appears to have gone smoothly except the underlying stuff at the command line is fuxoroed. This was because in b21 the kernel version wa…

I think the complexity comes from this: Would each column have a different view? How would the finder remember this? Or would choosing sort by "date modified" sort every column after that this way? Would it do this in realtime? Only the visible o…

No there is no way to do this in column view. I kinda see what your saying, but I'm not sure it would be a good idea. *thinking... Quote: Originally posted by Carson O'Genic Sorry if I've missed this in prior discussions: Does Panther's finde…
