I love my iPad 2 but I have to admit that the Xoom had an awesome UI (thanks to the guy who created the Sidekick Helio and Palm OS) but at the end of the day I want to play with tablet apps in addition to browsing the web. I saw the Playbook the oth…

NFC sounds like an awesome idea but I don't want to live in a world where people rely their phone as their only wallet anytime soon. I mean what if your iPhone dies out (or stolen) and you can't get a replacement right away for whatever reason? I gu…

The problem with reading news/magazine apps is that the experience isn't better on a tablet. Sure you get to interact with some of the pages but the tradeoff isn't worth it when you load up the app and have to wait 5+ minutes for everything to downl…

Proud Kindle 3 owner and and definitely interested in buying one of these things if it has duel lcd/eink capability. I originally thought I would do all my future reading through iBooks but (other than the poor selection) sometimes I just want to tu…

When I first bought my iPad I thought it would also be used as en Ebook reader but I think it's a bit too big and bulky to hold and read long periods of time. I actually bought a Kindle a couple of months ago and absolutely love the size, weight and…

Steve is right. Even though I still think the iPad is too large to carry around in public, Many of the apps wouldn't make sense on a 7 inch screen. When I first got my Kindle 3 I had to adjust to how much smaller the screen was!

It's too bad Apple can't make these things to sell at low end laptop prices because these things would make great college laptops.

It's funny how he called the iPad " the Mac of the Masses" because many Mac owners want simplicity and use their macs for email, web browsing and Skyping. This isn't an insult btw. I own a Mac Mini myself and really like the OS UI and the sleek apps…
