Wow, this shows how sad the wireless industry is in the US, that you have to have a patent to force some sort of competition among the cartels. Hilarious. Hey Apple, maybe you should start by selling unlocked iPhones in the US just for kicks.

Well, they better be already ramping up the production. Heck, they better start making the iPhone 5 already. These manufacturing stuff takes time, and knowing that Apple has well-planned release schedules of their products, I'm not surprised.

And yet in the end, Apple is still making more profit than all of those Android OEMs combined.

So, why does Apple need a carrier's (AT&T) blessing for this? Symbian phones can do wifi hotspot for a while already. My Nexus One can do it too. All without the need to beg for permission from the carrier. This is stupid. Apple, you have soften…

Doubt it. LTE model would make more sense at this point in time. CDMA = provider locking, something that Apple has been avoiding with the iPad.

No! I mean what about devs that don't necessarily agree or want to be in the App store, but still wants to develop Mac apps?

Oh I wish for the day when content licensing is universal around the world so I can enjoy music from various countries that are amazingly not being released in iTunes US, despite those music being available at the iTunes store for those respective c…

I don't understand why those got approved. Heck, iTunes is even worse. You can actually find music being sold in iTunes that seems to be uploaded by some random person, for sale! It's an obvious copyright violation. I mean how is that even possible.…

I hope this means that Apple will unlock all existing iPhones once the AT&T exclusivity contract expires.

It's probably going to cost Jobs more than $37.91 to cash that check (having to hire somebody to do it for him).

The difference is that HTC is the darling of tech bloggers. They can do no wrong. There were actually quite a bunch of issues with the build quality of various HTC handsets, but you don't see tech bloggers writing book-long articles about them. On t…

If there was a camera, it would be just a front facing for Facetime. The iPad's form factor, as a pad, is a bit awkward for video conferencing due to the camera angle from the device, unless Apple took that into account (maybe two switchable front f…

Apple shipped SL with an outdated Flash player, and people bitched. Apple learned their lesson, and just forgo bundling Flash completely, and people bitch too. Really? I rather install the latest Flash on my own than having an outdated version with …

Unfortunately, this is one of the downside of Apple's iOS ecosystem. An iOS product can only by synced to 1 computer. There are complex workarounds involving other syncing applications, but I don't see any of them being foolproof. All the content th…
