There was the same response to the original Macintosh, the original iMac, the G3 Tower, the "sunflower" iMac, and the G4 Cube. And except for the Cube, every one of those designs were successful. And the only problem with the Cube was it was over …

I also imagine that rewriting the Finder was one of those projects that they kept promising to do "someday" while they added features and squashed bugs for each OS X release. Eventually they got around to doing it. I don't think that there is a lot …

I quit using multiple displays because it was so wonky, so I'm stoked for the new display handling. Finder tabs is nice, but it doesn't help me a whole lot. It does seem that it took 13 years to get here, though. I'm guessing that Steve Jobs didn't …

The problem with the Genius ads was that they belittled Apple's customers. And ignored the core philosophy of "it just works." If you need a Genius to figure it out, then the product is flawed. Apple's ads have a certain "voice." It focuses on bene…

From the way the article is worded, I gathered that they aren't trying to run iOS in a virtual box. It sounds more like wine or name - just an environment that runs the apps. After all, trying to run iOS and then the app on top of that is a higher…

I'm confused. Isn't this a first for Apple? I've not heard of them updating the old OS version to a new minor version after putting out a newer OS. I know they've done security updates in the past, but not a new version number.

"Photos alleged show fully-assembled next-gen iPhone" ...."or not." That's how all of these articles should end, since no one really knows.

Well that sucks. I got the installer downloaded and when I tried to run it it said it couldn't verify it and that I had to DL it again! RATS!

Is there any way to view the download progress other than in LaunchPad?
