As cliche as it sounds on this blog, I thought the iPad was doomed. Amazing to see things turn around.

I can already hear the complaints from first quarter 2019 that might not be able to match the performance of the launch of iPhone X. At least that’s what happened the year after the blockbuster iPhone 6 debuted: a big hangover.

Hard to tell if this is genuinely useful or if it will fade away to gimmickville. I recently ordered motor oil and don’t think it would have been useful to see how the plastic containers look in my garage.

Apple could buy Qualcomm with the change in their couch. Interesting that the ceo feels that attacking Apple, rather than renegotiate IP prices, is the better strategy

“Noise in the media” is a lame response. They should have said “we screwed up by trying to gouge the public, and we learned our lesson.” Best Buy isn’t trying to be competitive. The exact same $10 iPad case I bought for my dad on Amazon last month w…

$199 annual insurance policy with a $29 co-pay to save $51 on screen doctor visits that might never be needed, isn’t worth it. I’d rather put $279 in a shoe box for emergencies and avoid the annual fee. Update: readers below tell me that AppleCare…

iPhone 6+ 64gb - After installing iOS 11 (and all updates since) battery life plunged, drains about 30% faster than iOS 10. Sluggishness not universal but pops up here and there. Siri was never slow before but takes forever now to respond to anythin…

Increasing the likelihood of flawed sensors on the assembly line to improve production rates? Sounds fishy.
