Actually, I didn't check other notebooks... I was simply hoping for 4 RAM slots and a 4 GB RAM limit. RAMJET sells 2GB DDR-667 SO-DIMMs for $269, so the cost is not all that prohibitive (at the Swiss Apple store, going from 2 to 3 GB is around $600)…

Nice. But only 2 RAM slots, and therefore extremely costly to update to over 2GB RAM. Everything else is really nice, though.

Nope. Just got my SE K800i, which is brilliant. Apple would have to show something breathtakingly superior for me to switch. And besides: whatever they'll do, it will be US-only anyway, and therefore of no consequence to me.
