Good thing someone brought the crash cart to this thread. But it still seems a little pale... I think Mac_Doll abandoned it.

I remember Weird Al back in High school and thought he fizzled out. He made a HUGE comeback lately I think starting with that "Don't download this Song" Song and now this. Wether this was a marketing campaign or not, it certainly worked and he is …

check for dust in the heatsink. that is a easy source of problems. As for the MB, I have one and use it for video encoding in 90 degree weather. No problems whatsoever.

Nope. I'm just not such a big fan of music. Sorry. Hate to say this, but this summer computers have been giving me one hell of a problem. This computer craze is burning away pretty fast for me and I am beginning to see them as simply machines…

I can see where that could be confusing, but the iPod trail is obviously computer generated and can not be taken as a real optical result of any glowing iPod.

I have a cheap-ola Radio Shack soldering iron too and am perfectly happy. As long as you keep the tip nice and clean and use new-ish flux, there are no problems and beautiful connections.

I got a USB flash drive to work I think. Took a bit of fussing. Personally I like Boot Camp better. The support is better and in the rare occasion I do need windows I can restart. (Which takes only 23 seconds on a MacBook) I can live with tha…

ATI accelerator may do it. On a side note, you are 23 and have a son who can over-clock a graphic card. You got some kind of genius there. 8)

Yea, we are talking the same thing. My laptop still has a problem with new icons though.

Yea! I get to be the first person to actually provide info! FTP for starters. That strange icon alignment bug Responsiveness when opening folders. (Windows seems much faster) meh. other stuff I learned to live with.

RRROOOOAAAARRRRR!!! It wouldn't be nearly as bad if that damned Netflix ad didn't take 20 seconds to load. *Closes popunder window* EDIT: Dude. AI uses 4 ad servers now? How many is considered overkill again? Lets see.. Netgear set…

In addition to the above post, backup ASAP. Some strange behavior can be fixed by deleting caches, but your dock reverting to default sends a shiver down my spine. I would backup your files, boot off the install DVD and run Disk Utility to scan …
