I'd say Quad is BS, a Dual Core-Dual Processor is more likely and MOSR can say I told you so... nuthin to see here move along...

Can't you read, like I say, if they thought it were important Obvioulsy neither Apple nor IBM think it is important and nor do I....

The way I see it is that Apple doesn't see any reason to spend money to get to 3 GHz which, to me, means they have something better up their sleeve... DC-DP-IMC-SMT here we come (lets hope)...

Apple doesn't make processors...

my vote is for dual-core dual-processor with on-board memory controller. Multi-processors & high bandwidth is the way to go... Even if they get to 3 GHZ, what's next, 3.15 then 3.2 then...etc, waste of time...

seems to me that this 90nm and below thing really bodes well for dual core chips. I can't believe people are bitchin about apple not going to 3GHz, who cares I want dual core dual processors and some damn HD space, period...

now you're talking, two 23" displays

Who wants 3 GHz, i want dual-core dual-processor (2.5 GHz is fine) with space for FOUR HD'ssss

doesn't anyone else upload stuff at 60KB/s download at a 100 and move 20GB around different drives at the same time...try that with a single processor for fun

...so you build this $1200 POS windows box and in a couple months when you want something different (to keep up with the Jone's) this old box is worth $50. Meanwhile ya could have bought a refurb Mac for ±2G's and it would be worth $1700 after a co…

they must be good speakers the guy that wrote the article went to stereo school and says they're good. "The physics are pretty cool," says Kay. "The sound waves from the left and right don't interfere with each other," as might be expected, s…
