Hey cowerd, It did turn out to be the RAM. I took it out, no more kernel panics. I'm getting it replaced pronto.Thanks.

Well merde, I don't think I can boot into OS9 with a brand spankin' new PB12"/1GHz.... shoot me in the foot. I HOPE it's not bad ram. I'll tell you what I'll do. I'll take out the 512MB RAM I got from TransIntl. and see how 7B85 runs without it.
