I say leave the USB & FireWire ports on the back! But add in an optional USB/FireWire hub which feeds via a single cable from the back of the tower to a nice neat little powered hub on the desktop... Problem solved for those who need accessib…

And if we are lucky, we might see an AGP Pro 50, which will give us enough power to run dual Cinema Displays! Now if we can get Apple & nVidia to give us a Mac OS X/Maya optimized dual ADC ported Quadro DCC card...!

Just give me an actual honest-to-goodness Apple PowerMac 3D workstation, with some sort of kick-arse 3D card that is optimized for Maya, and can run a brace (that is two...) of Cinema Display units with no problems, and I will be happy...!
