US Treasury takes last stab at deterring tax judgment against Apple & Ireland

The debt has effectively doubled during Obama's term, something unprecedented in our history. On top of this, the labor force participation rate is the lowest it's been since 1978. More crushing debt and fewer people working to pay taxes is a very, very bad combination.
Thanks, Obama! The day Ronald Reagan was sworn in - the national debt was 934 billion. The day he left office the debt was 2.697 trillion. Almost TRIPLE. Bush 41 added over 80% and Bush 43 added 110%. The first year a President is in office the budget has already been set by the previous President.

Apple opens Red Cross donations towards Louisiana flood relief

How dare there be flooding during Obama's golf game!
Maybe he can spare 5 minutes of his time, to say a few meaningless comments to the press, and then it's hop right back on the golf cart, and get back to what really matters!
Until the next disaster strikes of course, which will no doubt occur during another golf game, at which time, he'll be ready to take another 5 minutes worth of his time again.
The last time the community organizer opened their mouth, he was caught in a huge lie. The money to Iran was indeed a ransom, no matter what words these corrupt crooks choose to call it and no matter how much they lie about it.
Hillary is probably spending the weekend in an old age home, with oxygen tanks, recovering from a busy week, while Trump is busy being Trump, actually caring about the country and being on top of things 24-7, unlike the other frauds. -

I would also beg to differ with the proTrump comments of the orher posters here. Poor (white) people are more likely to be proTrump than DNC. And Trump's support among the Christians in the South (my reference point) is very strong despite his lifestyle, hot wife/daughter and not very Christian lifestyle-thought process.Having said that Jihadism (the PC-term for Islamism and I'm OK with the term too) is a threat to the West and needs to be dealt with in a direct fashion. Yes all the Abrahamic religions have their fanatics that harness their ideas in deadly ideas, but Jihadism is directly opposed to the Western secular way of life. And we must not use poorly thought out ideas like religious tolerance to cloud our judgement.Erdogan was despicable to the Kurds, secular people, democratic ideals and was probably providing cover for the ISIS and their recruits to transit through his country.I have very mixed feelings about the coup. But i tdoes seem like his FaceTime broadcast played a role in turning the tide.Hopefully our "fascist" presendential candidates see the value of the iPhone and Apple to our American way of life as they tweet away. -

And here’s an aggregation on education, as he hasn’t outlined a comprehensive plan yet.
And here are the numbers for his tax plan.
