How Apple stockpiled iPhones to avoid tariffs and keep prices low for a while
Forget the cost of manufacturing, the people don’t exist in the US/west in general. The amount of engineering resource required by Foxconn alone would take 10+ years to qualify and those people would still have less real World experience.China also uses massive amounts of automation for low skill jobs.Manufacturing at scale isn’t coming back to the West. -
No redesign expected for 2025 M5 MacBook Pro

Now check your Mac's available Wi-Fi networks. Your iPhone will be seen as one of them. Join it.Done. When the hotspot is no longer needed, turn it off.Works 50% of the time(more seriously, if your cell signal is very weak, there's a good chance it won't work as well as it does for city-dweller me)
If it doesn’t work, connecting via a cable immediately works so it isn’t a signal issue.
My iPad Connects every time to my iPhone for tethering. -

Apple doesn't appear to have plans to revive the iPhone mini

Rinse. Repeat.I said I wanted one. I bought a twelve, and immediately upgraded to a 13.
Bought my father a 12 Pro and he hated it ("digs into my crotch during golf swings,"), asked if he preferred my 13 and he said "oh yeah, this is way better). So I gave it to him and bought yet another 13.
There might be a fourth in there that I overlooked. His phone should be switched off and in his bag whilst playing golf. Fixed it for your Dad.
