yes, you can have the lock rekeyed to your current house key if it's a Schlage lock. I'm not sure if it will work with Kwikset keys. Any locksmith can rekey the lock for you

Really getting sick of all the assorted batteries in my life that need constant replacing or recharging. And then there's the rat's nest of adapters, chargers and cables.

you don't have to disassemble the lock to replace the battery. just unscrew the cap on the bolt and swap out the battery. it's really easy and quick to do. less than a minute

I'm curious though if the Level Touch will get a firmware upgrade to be able to support HomeKey since the Level+ looks like the replacement for the Level Touch

Agreed! Same can be said for most tech billionaires (such as Musk and Bezos). They’re successful because of luck and their willingness to ruthlessly take advantage of other people.

Not the case on my Enyaq. Carplay Apple Maps turn by turn appears on driver display, doesn’t for Google Maps on Carplay though

Better integration with the HUD when simultaneously using navigation and music. With CarPlay, you're stuck with no navigation instructions on the HUD, unless you run the native navigation in the background and CarPlay on the main screen.

If manufacturers are required to lock themselves into a 9 year old standard then they will move to Wireless only
