  • Apple Watch SE & Family Setup aims for a slice of the kids GPS tracker market

Can the Watch SE detect if your going to have a heart attack like the 6 Series can?
Now that the "smartalecs" have had their laugh, I guess your main point was that does the SE offer the same safety/health feature as the 6. I would imagine the latest blood oxygen sensor is exclusive to the 6, but the heart rate monitor and other features of the 5 should be there...
Anyone care to help out/chime in? Thanks.

  • Apple begins selling 18W USB-C power adapter separately for iPhones & iPads

I agree. As a long time Apple user and advocate, I'm tiring of the nickel and dime-ing. Apple was always ahead of the curve, leading the way, and if late, then stylishly late, but not dragging its ass forward like this.

This really should be in the box or a free BTO option. The included charger is a very poor offering.
No it shouldn't, it's less desirable for most people, because most people still use the older USB plugs and Lightning cables. USB-C is a nice to have, but it hasn't gone critical yet. If they put this and only this in the box, you people (well, not you, as you're not a real customer) would have a shit-fit over having to replace all of your charging cables. "What a racket! Apple is forcing us to buy more cables!" yada yada....

It's a balancing act. So far I see no reason to believe Apple isn't doing it right. Certainly not because of what knockoff cheerleaders on techie sites say...
If you're buying a new - expensive - phone that can benefit from this charger, just bung it in the box or make it a free BTO option.

What cables or chargers they might already have is basically irrelevant unless they want an even bigger collection of 5W chargers.

Let's be frank. This is just another example of Apple making even more money off yet another accessory.

This sounds like a pretty powerful computer and also a good value at the same time.
Apple may actually want to sell plenty of these.
the All-in-one has ling been one of Apple's greatest strengths. The 2017 iMacs are pretty sweet as-is. I just bought a top-spec BTO 2017 iMac earlier this month since I have client work piling up that begs for a faster machine. I couldn't wait for the iMac Pro.

I don't think I'm going to return this iMac to buy an iMac Pro.

But if timing had worked out differently, I would have gone for the iMac Pro in a heartbeat.

The way I look at it, by the time I need a new Mac, the New New MacPro will be on to its v2 and we will all know if the redesign is a success or not. Maybe my next Mac will be a MacPro?

Last time I bought in at that tier was the original PowerMac G5.
As long as they update it on a near annual basis, like their iPhones, then this machine should be regular hit.
