  • FCC formally approves T-Mobile and Sprint merger

I find it quite funny that in other forums here, people were lauding their switch to T-Mobile from either AT&T or Verizon as the best move they ever made.  They wrote about much better service and price.  So what's up with you people here that claim worse service with T-Mobile?

  • Tim Cook sees AirPods Pro as a complement to AirPods, not a replacement

The battery dies or holds just a bit of energy after 2 year with normal usage and the pair becomes unusable. Apple should make them with replaceable battery. Life of a headphone should not be limited with couple years.
Umm, you can get new batteries for them.

  • Confusion reigns over iPhone 11 Pro RAM, benchmarking tests

Apple really should disclose this info in their tech specs section. Not sure why they do not. Should be no secret. Processor, ram and storage space should all be disclosed when people click on tech specs. This should not be a hidden secret that people have to search for. Imagine having to search for this info when buying a Mcbook Pro :o
Maybe because the amount of RAM in a phone does not really matter to anyone but spec junkies that like to claim that a phone with 8GB of RAM is better than a phone with 4 or 6GB of RAM, which is patently false.  The amount of RAM in a MacBook Pro IS needed depending on what you are going to use it for.

  • No, Apple isn't favoring its own apps in App Store search [u]

A quick search for several random items on the Target and Walmart apps show that their first party products were in the first 2 results 100% of the time. Where is the outrage ?
Maybe they're mostly Android customers?  B)

  • Facebook's defunct Research app gleaned private data from 187,000 users

I wrote to Apple feedback and Tim Cook on several occasions to complain about and request the complete removal of any and all Google, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other anti"social media" apps from being built in to Mac, iOS, WatchOS, Having that trash on my Apple equipment without first requesting if I wanted it felt most unApple like and greatly disappointed me.

"Don't Be Evil" and "Do the Right Thing" are cynical mottos and as meaningless as the "meek shall inherit the Earth".
On what item and version did this happen to you?  I've never had any of those installed by default on any Apple device.  Do you happen to share your Apple account with someone else that might have downloaded those apps?  If so, your device might be set up to auto-download anything that your account has been used for.
