One thing that would be good (but also scary), would be to provide the Watch free or discounted, and nice discounts to people who keep up with daily exercising, standing, and steps through the activity app of the Apple Watch.  That way people can stay healthy, save money, and in theory, save the insurer money since someone who exercises regularly probably has statistically less claims in their lifetime.  But I also foresee the privacy issues with sending your personal data to your health insurer and the downsides to the unfairness of people who can't exercise having to pay "higher" rates.

Oh boy, here comes another evolutionary vs revolutionary debate.  At this point, I don't think there's going to be anything revolutionary coming out of smartphones or smartwatches short of a big breakthrough in battery, display, or sensor technology which is probably many years away.

Go away fandroid!  All these reports of problems are just people trying to smear Apple.  You're upgrading it wrong!

At first I argued that charging and headphones was a legit complaint for some (and it is, a minor one).  But even I think this has been blown way out of proportion.  The reviews are making it sound like the lack of headphone jack is this huge black mark on the phone and is a major issue that can be weighed against all the new features.  And they make it sound like all your wired headphones are now useless and your only option is to go Bluetooth.  Enough already!

What damages can they claim here?  Have people really lost money or been defrauded because it took a few extra weeks to get the latest iDevice?  I agree it's frustrating to have issues on launch day and miss out on being the first, but that's a customer support issue, not a lawsuit that you can win.
