  • How to get Windows 10 up and running on Mac using Boot Camp

Parallels isn't the only virtualisation application available for the Mac - you've also got VMWare Fusion, which is absolutely excellent and comes in two versions depending on what features you want and isn't too expensive (I use it all the time). There's also VirtualBox, which is free.

  • Patent applications show Apple has considered adding Touch Bar to Magic Keyboard

I'd definitely buy this. Can't think what's been taking them so long.

The only downside I can imagine is that Apple seems determined to deny people a built in numeric keypad. I use mine lots as my job involves a lot of numbers, and it's much faster on a keypad than across the top of the keyboard. Quite why Apple don't sell a wireless full size keyboard (with or without touch bar) is utterly beyond me...

  • Former Apple engineer says company more rigid, less competitive under Tim Cook than Steve ...

I think this has to be taken with a large pinch of salt.

One person's experience of a company as large as Apple does not describe the whole company nor does it describe the prevailing management style. It simply describes their experience. For all we know, this guy was constrained to particular tasks rather than bouncing around a lot and it peeved him personally.

Narrow focus isn't a bad thing. Perhaps this guy just got bored with doing his allotted job? Maybe he needs more stimulation? But you can't have a free-for-all in the world's biggest and most valuable company without standards falling through the floor and nobody taking responsibility for anything. It just isn't a long term viable way to run a company.

I think we're seeing more sour grapes here about one man's experience than we are a true picture of Apple.

  • Apple activates iPhone 6 Plus repair program to address 'touch disease'

Total BS I picked up a brand-new 6Plus 2 weeks ago and with in one day had screen Flickr.  Just went back this weekend and replaced it.   Apple will never own up for anything   It's now in thier culture
If you're going to lie, at least make it convincing.

  • More possible 'iPhone 7' packaging leaks emerge, also list bundled Apple 'AirPods'

Just clean house. Stop selling the [..] mac mini [...].
Absolute disagreement here. That form factor is a critical component in all sorts of use cases. I have multiple Mac Minis for varying uses, including arrays of servers. Loss of that product range would drive me to other manufacturers. And I'd be required to install Linux (since Windows server licenses are prohibitively expensive). The Mac Mini is extremely important to me and I'm sure many others.
