  • China widens ban on officials using iPhones but isn't enforcing it

All the compromises Apple has made over the years mount to not much. From now on Apple should be strong enough to say no more and prepare to move all its operations out. Apple can’t change a thing by continuing the engagement. The only Apple gets out is the damaged reputation. It’s no longer worth it. As a shareholder I am going to press Apple to pull out just like what Google has done many years ago.

  • Early previewers praise new HomePod's 'just wow' audio

Apple, please do an even more high end / bigger one so I can use it for home movie theater. But I am very glad that Apple brings back the big HomePod. I listen music on the origin ones every day.

  • EU will force Apple & Google to allow third-party app stores, payment services

Apple could easily say any customer who pays for the iOS software can do whatever they want. It costs $499 initially and $99 updates.

  • Apple made secret 5-year $275B deal with Chinese government

Apple has spent many years and talents in China. Over those years they must have seen so many good things and hard workmanship and competent engineering etc so they decide it is beneficial to invest heavily in China. Their deep experience would be completely different from many people’s superficial understanding of China gained mainly from reading some shallow news. I am in favor of Apple doing anything as long as they are legal and adhere to a high standard to benefit the company short term and long term. I won’t presume knowing how to run Apple better than Tim and Apple’s board. I will travel to China to learn more about them before criticizing Apple’s decision.

  • No plans for third-party Apple Watch face store, Apple executives say

I am wondering how many people in Apple working on the Watch Face, could it be a situation like Microsoft at one point just have just one person works on IE6? Let creative thirdparty customize the Apple Watch face but with a strong guideline. I am sure that would propel Apple Watch sales too.
