  • Apple's first-ever retail store at Tyson's Corner is moving to a new location

I thought I read that a second store also opened up on the same day at the Glendale Galleria in Glendale, California.
Yes, IIRC, Glendale opened three hours after the Tyson's Corner store.

  • New York City handing out AirTags in car theft crackdown

Proactive policing FTW! It's about time that a major police force embraced technology instead of having victims acting on their own. With so many numbskulls following the TT video, the particular car companies should have worked faster to eliminate the issue. I don't have any faith that TT will do the right thing and stop the proliferation of this criminal activity on their platform.

  • Apple drops employment lawsuit against ex-chip architect

Non-compete clauses and charges of "poaching" should be laughed out of court. Slavery is against the law and should not be allowed in any shape or form. Now if Apple has definitive proof that he was working out this outside project while they paid him, they should show it and move on. The fact that they've dropped this case years later is very interesting. I wonder if it's partially (mostly?) because his firm was bought by Qualcomm and their partnership/dealings with it gives Apple access to its tech.

  • Apple's diversity efforts are 'selfish & practical' says head of developer relations

Any time diversity, equity and inclusion are mentioned get ready for the "Woe Is Me" song by the Aggrieved White "straight" Guys Chorus. Poor li'l souls have to contend with simply occupying the majority of high paying, prestige jobs despite not being the majority of the population.

They're receiving at least $6-7B and hope to get upto $15B. Get with the program or leave those billions on the table. It's not unreasonable to have TSMC adhere to the rules given their history in Wisconsin.

The Commerce Department said it needs to make sure companies are using their taxpayer grants as promised and says it will take the money back if they fail to comply with award terms.
They understand the rules. They just don't like following the rules.
@ronn Might help to get your facts straight. You’re confusing TSMC with Foxconn in Wisconsin, but nice try…
Zoinks!! You're absolutely right. I mixed up the two... again. Still stand by TSMC complying with the terms of the agreement they willingly entered with the US. They're getting a ton of money and they simply have to open up the books since Uncle Sam is opening up the wallet.
