I have to agree with many here the movie was lacking in many ways. However, the wife and I both liked it since it was easy to watch and it just entertaining for 2 hours. I am not against those general themes, but I do not want to see and hear about it in everything I watch. 

Back in the day All In The Family was making people aware of bigotry and various isms, but it was not every single show or movie. Everyone talked about All in the Family and how things could be better. People in Hollywood has to realize they are not the moral compass, they get paid to entertain not preach their view of what they deem is the perfect world, that is what churches are for. 

Because of all the crap in movies and TV shows I mostly watch HGTV, History Channel and shows like Gold Rush which stay away from everyone are bad people if you do not see it their way. Watch Gold Rush and maybe people will learn what you can accomplish if you work hard.
