So maybe Apple will use N3X for Ultra and Extreme hence the long wait but it seems like it's worth waiting for since Mac mini M4 Pro/MacBook M4 MAX are incredible beasts.

Kinda like what Apple did with hidden Thread radio and sensors. They didn't talk about them.
Also same with Apple's new watch with oxygen sensor although it no longer claims its existence.

iPhone 18 Pro rumored to gain a variable aperture wide-angle lens
I think the variable aperture will be used for depth of field stimulation more than anything else. Lens are already the fastest as possible on tiny sensors, but a camera with a variable aperture can take a few pictures in a rapid burst and compare the DOF for better DOF simulation.

M4 MacBook Pro review roundup: fantastically fast -- but no real surprises
My menu bar is black which makes the notch invisible. I don't recall changing the color of menu bar but I am just saying that dark menu bar should be used if notch bothers you. It is literally a non-issue for me.
