Select US carriers introduce support for RCS on iOS 18 beta
I am guessing it's because it requires that text messages be stored on their data servers waiting for recipients to read and that requires a lot of resources which smaller carriers cannot afford?

I understand that but it won't end well. FTC targets Adobe for deceiving consumers about early termination fees
It's not just Adobe. A lot of companies do that on purpose and it should be mandated that they must provide easy way to cancel online, if ordered online.
