Apple has reportedly rejected TSMC chip price hike
I am dubious. The inflation rate is more than 9%. The 6% hike is actually a good deal given the whole context.

I doubted Stage Manager cannot be done on older iPads but I am sure the fluidity of switching will not be as good as M1 and will likely degrade overall performance.

Mozilla rampages over a lack of browser choice
I stopped using Firefox. I use Safari or Chrome. Firefox is a great browser but I don't feel like there's an incentive to use FF except for tests.

Yale Assure Lock 2 works with HomeKit to secure homes
I will not use WiFi module in smart devices (except for videos which requires wifi for bandwidth). It's consuming too much power for a simple command. Best to wait for Thread-enabled locks which is a hundred times more efficient with power and will be future proof.
