  • Apple says excessive iOS 16 copy and paste prompts are a bug

I don't see any "copy and paste" bug on iPhone 14 Pro. Is there a specific pattern that triggers the bug?

  • Dynamic Island expected to replace notch on all iPhone 15 models

I have iPhone 14 Pro and I really love the Dynamic Island. I like how it shows FaceID pop out when signing into accounts that need my FaceID. It is still underutilized but likely will see more of it being used in a couple of months.

But still, the iOS screen should have a system menu bar, always black and show icons such as battery, reception, active camera icon, alerts, etc. It would definitely look more attractive and more integrated. Like you see in MacOS with black system menu bar which makes the notch invisible.

I am honestly baffled why Apple does not do those things.

  • Update to iOS 16.0.1 on your new iPhone 14 before you do anything else

As a software engineer, I can tell you that it's not a simple feat to deal with millions of code lines and there are so many bugs that we did not notice during tests and only show up during real world usage. That happens. All the time.

  • Apple will switch more iPhone 14 Pro screen orders to Samsung

I appreciate Apple's attempt to diverse though but the fact that rivals have difficulties show that Samsung is just the king of high quality manufacturing and has the talented team of engineers to do that.

  • Apple isn't done with 2022 -- here's what's still coming

I am pretty sure that the new M2 MacBook Pros will be based on 4nm process, not 5nm process. Apple said that A16 is created on 4nm process and it's likely that it will use the same process.
Yes, that’s correct. And it’s thought to be the N4P process. It’s useful to know that it is still 5nm, “4nm” is just a name, indicating further refinements. TSMC has four generations of 5nm: N5, N5P, N4, and N4P.

    So the M2 being N5P (A15) and M2 Pro/Max being N4P (A16), nicely mirrors the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro divide.
No, Apple literally said, "4 nanometer" - here's a screenshot of the video:
