    Who are already dead AND destroyed their own phones which was where the good stuff was AND Verizon has already given the FBI every phone record on who they called, emailed etc. using all three phones.     While the FBI didn't demand the iPhone be opened for access but instead demanded DELIVERY of a software masterkey kit to them (as is stated specifically in the magistrate's ruling): which would compromise a lot more than "just that one terrorist's" phone.

    Here in America if you're in the business to serve the public you SERVE THE PUBLIC, that Indiana law was a free pass to bigots to target people they were told were "deviates". And it was wrong. Don't want to serve Americans? Move out of the country.

    Except if that were the case they'd have simply "discovered" the phone wasn't actually locked (they get asked to "open" phones that aren't) and VOILA! hand the FBI the information and avoid all this crapstorm.

    They don't. OR they lied in federal court depositions on a Brooklyn court case involving accessing an iPhone. That's both a felony and lots and lots of federal prison time.
