What do you call an intentional leak?

  • Jon Stewart opens up about Apple interference in his show

The company that funds the show having a say in the material is nothing new. That dynamic has been around since the beginning of media. Stewart himself has been known to adhere to the principles of both-siderism when it comes to political topics which isn’t exactly the most honest way of presenting information.
To be compared with HBOs Last week tonight… where neither ATT nor HBO have control of the content

  • US Apple Watch sales and import ban: What you need to know

    doggone said:
Buying them isn't so easy.  TH ecurrent market cap for MASI is 4.3M.  Back in April it was 3 times as much.  Apple won't want to spend that for a measily O2 sensor.  So licensing would be the way to go if the gov't agrees with the ban.
What do you mean $4.3M is about the OPEX of 4-7 of engineers in the Bay Area. That put on top on that testers, trials, managers… If Apple would invent one of their own it would cost x10 at a minimum.

  • Apple insists 8GB unified memory equals 16GB regular RAM

This is like saying to an employee that the $1000 salary is the same as $2000 elsewhere. A lie and a damn bad lie at that.

As a Canadian, while, I don’t support legislation to force Apple to open up their eco stream, make no mistake, the EU is as economically powerful as the United States
Based on GDP comparisons between the U.S. and the EU, you made a mistake.

    U.S. GDP in 2022 was about $25 T

EU GDP in 2022 was about $16 T

The U.S. largest trading partner is Canada, followed by Mexico, China, and then the EU.

The populations of NAFTA, and the EU are about the same at 450 million.

What's interesting is that the U.S. shifting supply chains out of China is particularly benefitting Mexico and the State of Texas.

Seems like you’ve got some rounding problems gdp for 2022 was

    EU $17.8
    US $25.5

but also NAFTA was dissolved a few years back.
