It would be a great purchase for Apple. Apple TV+, accessories, apps, retrofit millions potential costumers. Just for you to have an idea. Every day of the World Cup over 220 million people watch. By the end of the World Cup, a total of 5 Billion people would have watch only 30 days of the most played sport in the world and when you have a game, lets say Manchers City VS. Real Madrid, just the 22 players plus the 13 subs, the pay roll is over 1.5 Billion dollars. You van the Champions, The Premier, La Liga, The Euro Cup. It would be a brilliant move for Apple. Forget the car. That is peanuts. Futbol Soccer around the world is a business of hundred of billions of dollars. LETS GO TIM. LETS GO APPLE. Glazer wants a ridiculous number if you pay even 5 Billion and build a new Stadium like the Bernabeu, or Wanda, or Wembley. You would have spent 6 billion. You will have your ROI the moment you sign the contract. I guarantee you it's a dream. Both franchises are a marriage made in heaven. You just have to bring the people that know about futbol. Zidane would be your first coach and keep Ronaldo two more years. Trust me. It's the best news Apple can deliver to its share holders in the aspect of money making machine.  ManU's name per se is worth a fortune. It needs to be pamper and bring it back to life. The current coach is killing it.

  • Microsoft aims to replace your iPad and iPhone with new Surface Duo

Could be a very good idea that every Apple device could be prepared to have a port for a SIM card.
That you could indistinctlvy could tun your iPad or Macbook or MacPro into a phone.
Apple could also put HD cameras in all its devices and in portrait and landscape mode.
After all, if your eco-system is comprise of over 30 or more devices, then why not convert them into 60 and have the best of all the options.

Have to say that that Duo looks attractive, but just to think that I would run a t risk of running an Android system and with no tech support, NEVER.
Apple sometimes sleeps in its laurels. Those times have gone. The completion is fierce.

It should also make an agreement with the makers of TV sets to integrate AppleTV. So you get to the store and instead of having to fight with your Sony or Samsung that come preloaded with Android, you get home and you do the usual: PLUG AND PLAY. The motto of Apple.

I don't know any Apple user that opens a package and reads any instructions. 99.9% of the time even if it's not an Apple product, we figure out how to go around. So have them make our life easier.
And please. please please Apple redesign the calendar and contacts and it's UI. They are ugly and not up to date. Take a look at Moleskine Time Page. That is a true, beautiful calendar.

  • Apple retail chief Angela Ahrendts to depart in April, hands mantle to Deirdre O'Brien

It’s very different to sell 20 Burberry coats a month than 46, 66 or 88 million phones in a quarter.
Dont give her credit for being a simple decorator.
She knows about retail as much as I know aeronautical quantum algebra???????.
With Steve she wouldn’t have even lasted 10 minutes of interview.
Welcome back Apple. Now you will be on the right rack again.

  • Angela Ahrendts, the 'non-techie' who runs Apple Retail, joined Apple on October 14, 2013

For sure the WORST product Apple has ever presented to its costumers.
Since she arrived, employees have no names. Nowhere to find help. Temporary store with no bathrooms and no chairs or stools in a first floor.
Very different to sell 500 pieces of cloth a year than more than 165 million phones. Don't you think Angela?
She should be hire per job to decorate the" house" not to have the title  and money she got.
Also, when you make a presentation stage Angela, it's not Fashion Week and Anna  Wintour is not your crowd.
Ask around the stores who of the employees cares for you or respects you.
By the way, when are you leaving?
