If this 'fund' bailed out of Apple at the wrong time then isn't that the fault of the people running the fund?

Yes it is all part of portfolio risk management but that's what you pay advisors for.

As has been reported, the price of APPL stick is higher now than before the revision in earnings forecast was made.

This case should be kicked into the long grass and Apple awarded costs.

I sold all my APPL stock when I had no real alternative to due to a divorce. She wanted the money there and then. If I had held onto them I would have made a lot of money but I couldn't. I'm not crying over that bit of spilt milk. What's done is done and that's life.

With Italy in recession, Germany almost the same, France heading that way and BREXIT in the UK, is there any wonder why sales are down?

Many people are just not spending money unless they have to.

That has always been the case IMHO. I was first told that when entering the USA at JFK on a flight from Rio in the mid 1980's. You basically have no rights at all (not even for a lawyer) if you are not a US Citizen. I'd been working in Rio and in the middle of the Amazon for several months and was travelling back to the UK via the US in order to attend a conference that my US based company was putting on.

After 6 hours I was let into the USA. I'd been to the US many times and never had a problem and many times since again without issue. I never received an explanation as to why I was 'selected'. I lost count of the number of times I was told that as an illegal alien I had no rights and no protection under the US Constitution.

That put me off visiting for a number of years even though I was offered a secondment to the US from my Boston based employer.

this could literally open Pandora's box (sorry for the pun). This could result in an investigation into the streaming services themselves and how much or rather how little services like Spotify pay the artists and publishers for the music they use.

AFAIK, Apple pays more than Spotify.

It would be kind of ironic if Spotify is forced to pay more for the music they use after making this complaint.

Laws of unintended consequences and all that.

And in other countries (i.e. Not the USA) the situation is probably the other way around.

It would be nice if the article mentioned where the survey was done and when.
