  • Apple retailer claims 2-3 month delay for W1-equipped BeatsX

the same as the oft-delayed Apple AirPods

They have been delayed exactly once up till now, how is that oft ?
What's with all the doom and gloom its a pair of headphones. People are making out that this is a catastrophic failure, as usual they are working till they are as near to their idea of perfect as they can.  Everyone who has tried a pair has said they work great, so this is almost certainly a production problem. Companies who do not have to produce millions of anything to not be called out for creating a deliberate shortage and are willing to use their end users as testers obviously don't have this problem.

  • November set App Store's 'highest monthly sales ever,' says Apple's Schiller

Perhaps the increase in sales is from the increases in product pricing and requiring more seperately purchased tongles for everything. An ethernet and normal usb tongle for every computer sold adds up fast
Yes, that works every time, increase prices, that increases sales, its almost linear ;-)

Of course there's an increase in revenue. It cost more and gives you less. Ports, battery size, lighted logo, mag safe, extension power cord and no optical audio.
Yeah Cause while the lighted logo is cool, it sure helped me in my daily work flow.... /s

For me upgrading got me, a better screen, more storage, better speakers, more ram, and more performance.  My 2012 MBA works fine, but i thought this would be a good time to upgrade...  I ordered a full mbp 13 wtih 16, 512 ssd, i7 processor maxed out...

Granted I don't consider myself a true pro like so many do here.  I use my MB's and iMac's for management of my Photography, and other stuff like studying using virtual windows, linux, oracle boxes, and just the normal email, web stuff like most users.  I guess that makes me a sheeple in some peoples eyes.    I am ok with that, cause i got my new MBP.
WE are talking about revenue, or did you even read the article? Eliminating the lighted logo, even though you don't care about that, saves THEM money and increases revenue.
How does replacing a transparent insert by a shiny aluminium one save money, or were you thinking they had a light in there just for that ? I think it was just the backlight shining through a hole so this almost certainly cost them more.

  • France & Netherlands among EU countries considering pursuing share of Apple taxes

This just in: increasingly corrupt national governments continue to engage in corruption. More at 11.
As opposed to corrupt corporations not paying tax, anywhere
Morals don't come into it, Apple is not outside the law they are paying taxes agreed on by all parties. If this is not good enough then the law needs to be changed. People or companies that pay more tax than they are legally required to do you can count on the fingers of one hand.

Still needs waze type features like rerouting around traffic and warnings about police. And it's crowd sourcing data for real-time traffic and accidents. Those are the best features in waze.

Waze also allows tracking people your traveling with.
They have been crowd sourcing real-time traffic data for some time, even when you are not using maps.
