  • Apple now blocking new installs of sideloaded iOS apps on M1 Macs

No reason for me to buy a new Mac now.  Apple you’re stupid doing this!  Keeping my 2013 MBP then.

That doesn't even make sense. Your 2013 MBP can't run *any* iOS apps in any way. What precise scenario, what functionality, is this keeping from you? Nothing.

  • Leaked iPad Pro design images confirm few changes

I am not sure a major redesign of the device is necessary. The design of the device is already in its purest and best form. Both the iPhone 12 Pro and the iPad Pro represent the best possible design for their function.

Short of some groundbreaking new battery tech and see though holographic displays, I am not sure there is much to change here.

Now the internals are another matter. If the internals can be upgraded to say the M1 chip or something like that, then we would have something truly compelling.

Can you imagine an iPad Pro with the M1 SOC?
Not sure what you're talking about. The iPad already has "something like" the M1 chip: it's the A-series chips, which involve the same tech as the M1, but customized for the power supply available in an iPad and the needs of an iPad. iPads already have what you're asking for, and they have for years now. You just weren't aware of just how much performance was already in the iPad.

  • Is AppleCare+ worth it for Mac?

Why does it cost so much more for the 16” MBP?
I imagine because a) the machine is much more expensive to begin with, and b) the display, which is the most likely thing to get damaged, is much nicer and more expensive to replace as well.

  • Apple's 'iPhone 13' rumored to adopt slimmer TrueDepth notch, flush rear camera module

Apple need to milk the shrinking of the notch over the next few years to give us a reason to keep upgrading.  Expect a notch-less screen on iPhone 15.
Could we please just not with these half-baked, zero-evidence, don't-pass-the-laugh-test conspiracy theories? They are tiresome.

    Dang. Another notch?

If Samsung can banish it surely apple can.
Samsung hasn't banished it. Their "notch" is a hole-punch, instead, and at the cost of considerable functionality and quality that Apple doesn't want to give up.

    I prefer Apple's choices..
