  • Why you should pick up the 2017 10.5-inch iPad Pro instead of the new iPad Air

The thing is not only is the A12 a bit faster, but it will likely have 2 more years of software updates in the long run. Comparing that to the 2 extra speakers and 120 Hz screen, I consider them the same value.

  • Hands on and benchmark testing of Apple's 2019 iMac 4K

It’s sad to see Apple not putting SSDs or Fusion drives on these things as standard. Please those who are annoyed by this please send apple feedback & be respectful. I mean even the $800 Mac Mini now has NVMe SSD standard.

We'll be talking more about this later. Just because something isn't right for you, or for a good portion of the AppleInsider devoir, doesn't mean that it's wrong for the vast majority of the intended market.
I want the Apple experience to be the best. An iMac with a 5400 rpm drive isn’t the best in my opinion. We should want Apple to do better. I mean instead of the 5400 rpm drive couldn’t they have just put in a 128 GB SSD. I understand AI opinion that we are geeks. That’s why I said ‘if’ people are annoyed they should send apple feedback & be respectful.
Well I don't want them to encourage a 128 GB SSD, but I do agree having the iMac now the only non SSD Apple product is odd considering its popularity. They could maybe do a 512 GB drive+64Gb ssd fusion drive for possibly the same price, as far as it goes it would be nice to see them all ssd very soon as the iMacs are otherwise the stationary MacBook Pros hardware wise (same GPUs, of course hardware CPUS vary but similar speed, have the larger respective retina screens, somewhat similar prices, but fusion drives on the iMacs).

  • The new TV App is coming to third generation Apple TV hardware

So they are bringing the upgraded Apple TV app to the 3rd Generation? Is that not really odd considering it never received the Apple TV app (to my knowledge) to date. It also downplays the software advantage the 4th gen Apple TV has had over the 3rd.

  • Apple Card partner Goldman Sachs says Apple's new video, game & news services will have 's...

The answer is will it make Apple money, and the answer is it sure as heck will.
Will they be as popular as competitors or replace other peoples means for buying magazines and games, it certainly won't on day 1, and I don't see Apple TV+ being half as popular as Netflix or the news service being used by 10% of Apple users, but that may just be me underestimating.

  • Apple Arcade will service Apple's one billion gamers on the iPhone, iPad, and Mac

One of the cool things about this approach is that it includes big screen gaming on the Apple TV. That's going to be a compelling feature for both purchasing the service and for purchasing Apple TV hardware as well.
Isn't Apple TV already supports existing games? Considering success/complaints they have, I wouldn't be too optimistic. These are same games that are available today but with subscription model.

Should be interesting to see how games which are designed for iPhone/iPad translate to the Mac/AppleTV, where you don't have a touchscreen.  Without additional developer effort to adapt the game controls for those platforms, the only way I see it working well is if you're also using your iPhone/iPad for control.  But if that's the case, why wouldn't you just play it on those devices directly?
Some games cannot be translated between macOS / iOS. It is obvious that there will be different games on each platform but one subscription will encompass all.

Although the article says “The iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV are all supported by all of the games on the service, and offline play is available for all titles” that would reduce the inventory to a very small subset. I didn’t watch the Event, have to check if it is exactly presented as mentioned.
Im pretty sure this is going to use that software porting Apple developed last year to port all games likely form iOS to Mac and Apple TV. Right now Apple TV gaming is limited to a few dozen titles and Mac is less limited, but still short of Windows/iOS, this will likely close the gap. Im also taking it from the event as new exclusive games will be it, so while some of the games will be good, they are nothing we are currently familiar with, and the more popular games won't be on this, or vise versa. The good news of that is it could be less than $10 a month, though pricing wasn't announced, so its very likely they are negotiating it with the developers.
