Having a charger with a control display is to me like fiddling with the Registry in Windows - personally, no value.add. I would prefer a charger, where no matter in which port plug what, the power/charging distribution is handled automatically in an opitmum manner for the devices connected. Like is… it just works.

While Apple might play their famous sosumi sound, on second thought, shouldn’t they rather sue the inventor of the laws of physics? Who was that again…

If you run into trouble with HomeKit issues (such as inability to add shared home users), I recall that Apple used to send affected users a special profile to instal  on your phone with which you could totally erase any HomeKit settings. It should be enough to google “reset HomeKit profile”. Obviously, you will need to start from scratch, but it seems this resolved issues in manny cases that otherwise could not be resolved.

I would see this more in the context of Tencent, practically owning Epic. Apart from owning WeChat, Tencent is the world’s biggest owner of gaming studios. They basically own gaming on a global level. And with such ethics, this looks very “promising” regarding manipulation and exploitation of our younger generation. They fact that Sweeney apparently is not opposing at all to this, in my eyes speaks volumes about the guy’s character and values.
