damn, pretty much looks like what the iPhone 8 is likely to look like...how is apple going to keep its hardware bleeding edge when their suppliers are making phones and will always have first access to the latest hardware (screens/batteries/modems/etc.).

Apple products just keep on going. I just sold my 2010 MBP for almost $400. A 7 yr old laptop. Who expects to get 20% of the cost of the laptop back in 7 yrs (I paid $1,800 for it new).

Pretty sweet strategy for Apple. Plenty of people will pay $1,000+ for their phones if it's qualitatively better than anything else. Great margin generation. Hiding FaceTime cameras behind the display? Doubt it. More likely, they can stick mini cams at the four corners of the phone, and generate a 3d capable render of the face from what would be the perspective of a center mounted camera. Fixes the staring off angle issue with the current cam location. allows for a nearly edge to edge screen. provides distance data for 3d rendering, enhanced video effects, augmented reality (at least when in selfie mode). Costs are minimal. Mostly a software/battery issue.

I've had my latest gen MBP for a few days now in real world use. Overall the design is very nice. Touch bar is neat but it's pretty annoying not to have hard function keys for brightness/volume/etc. control. My biggest grip is that battery life is disappointing. Not meeting my expectations for Apple. 4-5 hours max for non-intense work seems to be the norm. Other than that, the value proposition really isn't there. Hard to imagine anyone with a 2012 or later MBP (mine was 2010) justifying the upgrade.

$53 million in revenue is awesome. It probably only cost a few million to make the game.

I think there was some confusion about the in app purchase. I suspect if they just charge $10 outright they'd get a lot more sales. The game is great. Excellent control mechanics for the phone.
