    But if he succeeds in brining manufacturing back but companies use mostly robots and automation to be competitive globally, what has Trump really achieved jobs wise? Don't get me wrong, I think we should have manufacturing capabilities built up here, even if automated, it's good for economics and national security, but does it directly help with jobs as much as Trump thinks?

    I guess the answer is "brand loyalty" -- there are many people who like the Beats brand, and Apple wants to keep them in the family.  But the purist in me says that Apple need to reconcile these overlapping product lines into a single (and single-branded) offering.
    Beats is a higher end brand. Apple sound quality is bad to ok, and their top of the line AirPods go for $160, where as the entry level Beats go for $150 and sound better.

    It isn't a stump speech, it's an attempt to understand how Trump's attempts at national policy would affect Apple. I've also heard people say he'll be impeached within his first year, if he even survives the federal racketeering charges. Of course, all the Republican and conservative judges will give him a pass because he's the incoming President and all he needs to do is force the trial into a conservative suburb or one of the many red districts in the farm land and nobody will convict him of anything.

    There's this little thing called a democracy where the people have the power to decide who leads the country and who doesn't. And they have spoken. 
    That little thing called democracy elected Hitler, elected Hamas, and made slavery legal for nearly one hundred years. Don't think that it being the will of the people, makes the evil of Trump and his agenda justifiable. Americans who voted for Trump will have to live with their choice. Let's just hope America is around in 4 years and that elections take place.
