iPad mini 5 refresh predicted, but may not be at October iPad Pro & Mac event
Out of desperation, I am forced to buy a new Mini 4 (2015)! Not happy about buying a 4 year old technology at the end of 2018 for $399! A8 SoC and 2GB of LPDDR3 inside! Yuk! But not alternative! Thanks Apple!

Apple has no love for the iPad Mini! The Mini 3 had the A8 with 1GB in 2014? In 2015, Mini 5 was release with same A8 but Apple doubled the RAM to 2GB. It is going on 2019 and we are still have the iPhone 6 A8 inside still! No love! -
Apple could and should make a larger iPad Pro but it probably won't be 15 inches
"What about a new iPad Mini? The current Mini 4 has a X8 inside and has not been really updated since the Mini 3 which has the same A8 inside. Talking 2014!

Still waiting for a new iPad Mini! Current one has an A8 with 1GB RAM! Come on Apple, you need to just swap out the SoC and RAM chip cluster! Take nothing, no R&D, no new components! You can even uses small sticks the have a 5 and place then over the 4 box. Cost is very minimal! You have a brand new product!
