  • Brazil will fine Apple again for not including charger with iPhone 13

I think there's a point that need a little amplification: those actions—wether you deem them fair or not—are from PROCON-SP. That isn't Brazilian consumer protection regulator. It's just for the state of São Paulo. Even though it's the most populous state in Brazil, the narrative as presented is alike to to call a California law enactment an US government determination.

  • 'Fortnite' not coming back to iOS or Mac any time soon

If thing are as reported, I'd say it is a half measure from Apple.

Apple could play nice and accept Epic again in the App Store, assuming they don't repeat any shenanigans—and stop bitching in social media. Or Apple could nuke their ass by banning all Epic developer accounts (e.g. Unreal Engine) which is allowed to do now, if I've read the verdict correctly.

This "so so" approach only gives air to Epic's fiery comments about being mistreated, at the same time that it don't do enough to really hurt them.

  • 'Ted Lasso' makes Emmy history with Outstanding Comedy Series win

Truly well deserved! Just don't pull a stunt like last episode again! I watch Ted Lasso to see Ted Lasso, not a side story—with a much somber tone—with less than a minute of the titular character.

  • '9/11: Inside the President's War Room' begins streaming on Apple TV+

Apple TV+ in Brazil: it's searchable and available, but unlisted on the catalog.

  • Bill Maher declares Apple CSAM tools a 'blatant constitutional breach'

I love Bill. I've been watching him "Religiously" for the better part of a decade now. I watch his show mainly because it makes me laugh. He is not a reporter, he is a comedian. His program is more about entertainment than unbiased journalism. As such, despite some knowledgeable guests, I don't really expect it to eschew factual accuracy over a better punch line. People should stop judging some things over what they aren't, and start to see for what they are.
I have the technical education to understand the intricacies of what Apple is proposing to do, understand the distinction from my iPhone and my iCloud, and the privacy implications of some carefully written terms of service. I also like to unclench my @ssh0l3 late at night and laugh at some jokes peppered with hyperbole for my amusement, no matter what is the subject, or my personal opinion.
