At this day and age, I fear it's the latter. No matter your nationality, ideology, or education (I'm an engineer BTW), if you can remember high school history, you can recognize that we are frogs in a warming pot. We are just letting too much slide...

That will only hurt US industries on the long run (and create black markets, which will be worse for the "affected" countries). Funny thing is, if this piece of legislation ever goes through, it will serve only to energize the current dead end that is to compete with Apple. After the encryption export ban fiasco, up until the 90's, one would think that (any) governments had already recognized that science and tech do not care for political borders. Smart people happen everywhere!

That has been the cash cow for Blizzard for many years now. It is also where Apple appears to be pushing for—subscription model.

Not cool for Apple to have discontinued the line... I know that software support eventually drops, I'm still with my iPad 2, and no complains there!
