Apple to transition Brazilian iTunes sales to local currency in early 2018

Data of 31 million users of iPhone add-on keyboard ai.type potentially leaks
I find it interesting that some iPhone users, despite having to cough up a significant buck to buy the hardware, are willingly forfeiting some of the most important features iOS offers, by installing useless (ok, that may be too far, but I sincerely fail to recognize the relevance of the so called alternative, or 'pro', keyboards) adware. I don't know shit about Android (despite my monthly janitor function on my mother's device) so I won't go there, but it surprises me that such information could be gleaned from an iOS app, even with user consent. Isn't it against Apple policies to even ask for access not relevant to the app function? -

Chill out dude
It's been published here, many times, that Apple customers are more engaged with their devices. It's also human nature that you'd dislike disparaging comments on something that not only you like, but invested thousands of dollars to have. So I'm surprised that you are "surprised" with the negative comments.
The reason I visit (and read) AI daily, for more than a decade now, is that it presents what I consider a fair view of Apple, and its mistakes. Your piece deviated a little from that (my opinion), so I commented (you'll see, 'from my history', that I'm not a heavy poster, or a troll). If I had any interest in 'doom and gloom' biased Apple news and opinions, I'd be visiting TheVerge, where I could find Ina's hard on for Apple, Dieter's bullshit, and Nilay's sheer craziness! -

Most important, if you hadn't already convinced yourself that your piece was a bit of a hyperbole, you wouldn't be here, replying the fortieth something forum post, hours after you originally posted your piece, on a weekend...
I think I'll start the #iDED on Twitter! (no, I'm not...)
Chill out dude, I just don't agree with your overview, but your facts are sound. -

Whoa... pulling a inverse DED here!
Let's call it iDED!Jokes aside, Neil appears to have overblown the issue. The macOS flaw was serious, but patched within a day almost. File sharing is so "touch and go" (mine is the only mac on the department, and for the life of me, Windows users just don't know how to enable it—properly—on their systems) that it's hard to notice a diference. All in all, mac users are a considerably small fraction of the Apple customer base.
As for the iOS bugs, as irksome as they might have been (my iOS devices weren't affected), were not serious per se. Although, considering the scale of iOS user base. It's no surprise Apple pushed an update out of the door before cosmetic things, like the update notes, were updated (pun not intended, but welcomed nonetheless). Even though their impact on a Saturday morning should be limited (I awoke to find my iPhone already running iOS 11.2).
I'm not saying there is no problem. I myself think it unseemly to have Apple scrambling like that, but this piece appears to have been written for Gizmodo (or so I heard, since I've never read anything from them). So hold your horses Neil. It's my understanding that AI readers are not fond of inflammatory anti-Apple clickbait.
