I do not have a F*c*book account, and I will not have a F*c*book account.

Apple should look at Mastodon or Spoutible instead of that horrible company.
It's okay cupcake, you don't need a Facebook account, you need an Instagram account. I guessing that you feel the same way about those. But I can't image people on Threads will be super broken up that you won't be joining.

You are seriously mocking someone for not having or caring about a facebook or insta account..really?  Hahaha wow  You are just super cool!
And you are defending one of the biggest negative fucking nellies on this forum, so great self-own.

No I was commenting on how fuckin ridciulous the comment was.. period. Self own? Wtf are you talking about.. The comment was silly.. That was all.. I don't know how either person comments as I don't come here quite as often as I once did.

Really, my previous APP1 were fantastic for calls. Even when vacuuming!
I reckon that is the main thing they have over the Sony, which have better sound.
Calls sound terrific of you are the person making the call and wearing the APP. Its the sensitivity of the mics ( Transparency mode )  that is horrible for the party you are calling! My GF walks a few miles after work daily and calls me ( I am still working ) while she is walking with the dog. Road noise on my end sounds like she is standing in the middle of a busy freeway! Dogs barking and playing along the path sounds like her head is in the middle of a dog fighting ring!

I was on a call for work and the person on the other end asked where I was? He asked if I birds in the house with me as they were pretty loud and clear.. I took my APP off for a sec and couldn't hear the birds with my own ears hahaha! wow!

I love everything about the APP but the hot mic in each ear is insanely disruptive for headphones at this price point. As an FYI I have had them replaced 2x because of the crackling issue that some mentioned earlier and also constant failed fit tests.  The hot mic I mentioned has been the same with all 3 pairs I have owned. If you carry on the call without any of the processing ( Noise Cancelling or Transparency ) the hot mic isn't gone but definitely reduced.

  • Facebook is fine when punishing others financially, but cries when others do it to them

God I hate Facebook and Zuckerbag. Not really a big fan of Apple either. Neither are your friends but Apple is the devil you know.
Comparing a company that makes something (the best products and services in the world), with a company that derives 100% of its revenue from mining customers' data to sell to advertisers is a questionable conflation.
Two large companies that care nothing about you unless they are making money from you, as either the customer or the product? I think it's a perfectly reasonable comparison.

We need to stop defending Apple as if they are our friends..they aren't. We enjoy their products and the service they offer as part of being a customer, additionally if you are a stock holder you enjoy the dividends as well B) .. that's it.

  • Apple reaping massive illegal profits from Apple Pay fees on card issuers, lawsuit claims

Filed in Northern California.   Good chance Visa is one of the “financial institutions”

What utter bullshit.   Typical, money-grabbing slime lawyer
"Hagens Berman, the law firm that successfully obtained a $450 million settlement from Apple over ebook price fixing, is representing the class, which is comprised of U.S. credit unions and financial institutions that have cards enabled for use in Apple Pay."

They already dinged Apple for 450M.. why not try again? B)

Honestly these CC companies have a lot of balls crying when they kill small businesses with their transaction fees. I see more and more small businesses that are cash only, or in the case of gas stations you pay a few more cents a gallon if you choose to pay with a credit or debit card rather than cash.

Credit card companies charge between approximately 1.3% and 3.5% of each credit card transaction in processing fees. The exact amount depends on the payment network (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express), the type of credit card, and the merchant category code (MCC) of the business.
