  • Apple debuts iPhone 11 Pro from $999 with triple rear camera

I have been trying to upgrade my iPhone but when it gets to accessing the Upgrade Program information, everything stops with the circle going around and around for hours.
    Anybody else has this problem?

  • Goldman Sachs spends $350 for every Apple Card signup

Not trying to be negative on this, really asking.  Why would anyone want this card?  The rate is pretty high, the integrations are interesting but don't really add that much value IMO, and I can use Apple Pay with my existing card.  What is the draw?
2% cash back on NFC, 3% on all Apple products and services, no annual fee. Why wouldn’t I want to use it for my Apple Pay card?

That doesn’t mean I’ll use it for everything, of course.

The interest rate is quite poor (24% for good credit), but I don’t plan to carry a balance.
At least 3 cards available today offer 2% cash back on NFC AND non-NFC purchases.

Apple products can often be found on Amazon at equal or lower price than Apple.com and paid with Amazon Credit Card for 5% back.

Itunes gift cards can easily be found online for at least 5% off.

    So what's the advantage?
What are the 2% cashback no fee cards?

I don’t buy my Apple gear from Amazon. Nor does that cover App Store, iTunes, iCloud, etc which are 3%.

So the advantages for me are there. If you’re pretending I’m saying it’s the only card for everybody for all use cases, you’re being silly.

I use Citi DoubleCash which give you 2% for any purchase online or with the physical card.

12.9% for good credit. That’s what I got for my 832 FICO score. For me it does not matter since I never carry a balance.

  • Here's how Apple Card Daily Cash works

I was invited two days ago and I enrolled very easily. Then I got an email from Apple saying that I can charge purchases with the card information in the Wallet. I understood that I could use the 16 numbers, expiration date and CVV and get 2% just like ApplePay.

I called Apple and found out that using that information is just like using the physical card which only gets you 1%. That was disappointing. I have the Citi Double Cash where I get 2% for everything I charge so I am sticking with that card until ApplePay is activated at different websites.

The Apple Credit card transaction details and the information provided are a plus for Apple but I want my two percent.

I still ordered the titanium card card just for kicks

  • Apple cancels AirPower wireless charging mat, citing quality issues

Since it was unveiled, I have wondered about the utility of wireless charging in the home especially if you have an Apple Watch or an iPad Pro in addition to your iPhone.

For me, the solution is the Anker wired charger with one USB-C output for my iPad Pro and four lightning outputs for my iPhone and the Apple watch puck.

Outside the home in a coffee place, placing your iPhone on a mat without wires is fine but for home use, wireless charging is unnecessary. That is my opinion but I would be interested in seeing comments on this subject.
